Overall the hotel was clean and staff were very nice. I will say the beds were like sleeping on plywood..so uncomfortable..was super sore after 2 night stay. Breakfast..was strange. Seemed like packaged items just set out..not a cooked meal. I feel like next time I visit Artesia I would go elsewhere for better beds and breakfast options. If you like a really hard bed though I would still recommend.
Stayed here overnight while visiting Artesia, NM, where our daughter & family are moving early next year. Very nice property. Looks relatively new. Furnishing looked to be in good condition & lobby was nice for breakfast. Good thick towels. Bed & pillows very comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice hotel in this relatively small town. There are restaurants & Walmart fairly close by ( driving distance). Very reasonable rate! We try to always stay at Hampton if available & this one didn’t disappoint!
Nice hotel and they had the evening cookies, which make my day! Staff were friendly. Bed mattress was broke down some on the side by the other bed. They were painting the outside of the hotel, but they let you know where to park to not damage your vehicle. Plenty of parking. Did I mention they had cookies?!
Very clean , courteous, nice staff. Ran into staff member Olivia outside the hotel n immediately recognized me and said hi and started talking for few seconds. Joe was very nice and on top of everything when it came to breakfast . Talking to him , he asked for any feedback good or bad. That's customer service. As he said he's always looking on how he can improve the breakfast experience for everyone. This is why I decided to write my first review ever. Keep it up Joe.
Had a great 3-day stay! Beds were super comfy, rooms were spotless, and the staff was attentive and friendly the whole time. The digital key worked perfectly, and everything was smooth with no issues at all. Would definitely stay here again.
Room: This spacious room features two queen beds and a sofa bed, comfortably sleeping up to six people. It includes a large workspace, is impeccably clean, and offers the convenience of an in-room microwave and refrigerator. Service: The property is well-maintained with clean hallways and fresh, new carpeting. Amenities: There is an indoor pool on-site and a hot breakfast offered in the mornings, which I’m looking forward to trying. Location: The location is excellent—right next door to a Walmart, making it easy to grab anything you might need. Recommendation: I would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.
We were treated well, had clean working rooms and seemed to be a quiet area. I'd use this location again. We liked using the Artesia area as our base for exploring the area and for Air Races in Roswell.
We stayed for 4 nights and our room was consistently maintained and cleaned.. Towels are always replaced with new ones. Their staffs are friendly and helpful.. I loved their waffle station! Its just sad that their pool was closed during the span of our stay.. but overall it was very comfortable. Thank you, Hampton!
